In Local Service this represents all products (floral and gifts) that are carried inside your local florist and are available for Same Day Delivery.
Availability For Same Day Deliveries
Flowers and Balloons
- In some locations we may need 24 hours for delivery of exotic arrangements or fruit baskets.
- Floral arrangements and balloon bouquets are hand-delivered to your gift recipient's home or office.
- They can be delivered the same day you place your order, if you order by noon in your recipient's time zone, Monday through Saturday.
- In some locations there is no delivery of these products on Sundays or national holidays. See ‘About My Florist’ for exact same day delivery policy.
- Delivery on Saturday may not be possible in rural areas, contact your local florist direct for details.
- The physical street address of the recipient's home or workplace is required; a post office box number is not acceptable.
- For delivery to hospitals, please include recipient's room number, and ensure before ordering that the recipient is not scheduled for discharge within the window of delivery. For patients in critical care, floral arrangements, fruit baskets or balloons may not be permissible. Telephone the hospital before ordering to inquire as to their policies.
- When ordering funeral flowers, please include the name of the deceased as well as the funeral home to prevent any confusion in delivery.
- The recipient's telephone number is required for possible address verification and to ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.
- If no one is there to receive delivery, our courier will make all decisions concerning the safety of the location to leave the arrangement, or will attempt delivery at a later time.
- In the case of holidays, such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, order early to ensure delivery on or before the holiday (above restrictions apply).
- We cannot deliver to airports.
Fruit & Gift Baskets
- In some locations we may need 24 hours for delivery of fruit & gift baskets.
- All items above apply to the delivery of fruit & gift baskets.
Gift Baskets & Other Products Being Dropped Shipped
- Products shipped through the ‘national drop ship program’ are not available for same day delivery.
- We have a variety of drop shipment methods, from next day air to several days per product, based on individual product size and weight. Your choice of shipping method will be automatically chosen based on the time required to package and ship the item.
- For example if you choose a product for next day air and that product is not available, the next available date a product can be shipped will be displayed during your check out process.
- If you need that product shipped earlier you must contact your local florist directly.
- Note that most of our products will not be "bundled" for shipping since they are being shipped from multiple vendors.
- If you have any delivery time constraints contact your local florist to coordinate your shipping arrival concerns.
- Please be sure to read all shipping information carefully, you will find that various product types have different shipping concerns.
- Please remember if a product is not available in “Local Service” it is only available on a drop shipment basis. Please contact your local florist if you are unsure of its immediate time availability.
